Dr Wijaya grew up as a north shore local attending Knox Grammar School, and then relocated to NSW’s central west to graduate from Charles Sturt University Dental School. He has broad experience, from CBD and suburban private practice, to public hospital dentistry. Dr Wijaya has also gone outback with the Royal Flying Doctors to fly in dental care to remote NSW communities during their TOOTH (The Outback Oral Treatment and Health) initiative. He is forever furthering his knowledge and skillset, including currently pursuing post graduate studies in implantology.
Our patients feel at ease in Dr Wijaya’s care, describing his chair-side manner as gentle, assuring, and understanding. Dr Wijaya prides himself on his clear communication to demystify your dental condition. Firstly, he guides patients on a journey of discovery and co-diagnosis to identify oral concerns. He then clearly explains and deconstructs treatment options for patients, balancing benefits, risks and costs. This ensures his patients feel empowered as an active partner, to what suits their long-term oral health.
Dr Wijaya resides locally and enjoys scuba diving, cooking and walking his Cavoodle, Charlie.
